OI China 2017 Cost-effective New Product of the Year

The Oceanology International (OI) China 2017 Cost-effective New Product of the Year will debut a range of cost-effective products at OI China; gathering cutting-edge marine science and technology from more than 20 countries and regions, showing the achievements of global development in marine science and technology field better to practitioners, comparing and selecting cost-effective equipment more accurately for marine practitioners. Meanwhile, it will attract more business opportunities for exhibitors.

In 2016, this event attracted 39 new products, 23 of which were launched after January of 2016. The voting was conducted on our official website and WeChat, and recorded a total of 6,095 votes, from which five were selected as the most popular new products. Awards ceremony was held at onsite OI China 2016.

Detailed Selection Rules for
OI China 2017 Cost-effective New Product of the Year

Eligibility for participation:
All OI China 2017 exhibitors are eligible to apply for the Cost-effective New Product of the Year 2017. Each exhibitor is eligible to have only one product  competing for  the Cost-effective New Product of the Year which has to be a debut product at OI China 2017.

Deadline of registration and information submission:
September 10, 2017  

Method of participation:
Fill in the “Entry Form for OI China 2017 Cost-effective New Product of the Year” and submit to the OI China Organization Committee.

Process of selection:
1. Before 1st of November, 2017, each pre-registered visitor is entitled to vote for as many products as they like, but may cast only one vote per product.
2. During the exhibition (1st - 3rd of Nov, 2017), onsite visitors can vote for as many products as they like, but may cast only one vote per product per day.
3. The five new products with the most votes will be awarded “OI China 2017 Cost-effective New Product of the Year”.

Description of awards:
Each winning exhibitor will be presented a prize worth RMB 26,000, including:
1. The winners will be invited to the awards ceremony at the onsite exhibition and receive a trophy and certificate.
2. The winners are eligible to deliver a short 3-minute speech after the award presentation to promote their products (worth RMB 5,000).
3. The new product information and company profile of winning exhibitors will be collected in the OI China 2017 Post Show Review (worth RMB 5,000).
4. The winners who confirm participation in OI China 2018 will enjoy a free one-page advertisement in the Oceanology International China Supplier Directory 2018 (publication of OI China 2018) (worth RMB 5,000).
5. The winners’ information of the company and products will be posted on the OI China official website (worth RMB 5,000).
6. The winners’ information of the company and products will be posted on the official Wechat account of OI China (worth RMB 3,000).
7. The winners’ information of the company and products will be sent to all pre-registered visitors of the exhibition via email (worth RMB 3,000).
