2018 Conference Programme

Conference Chairman’s Welcome

Oceanology International China brings together the Ocean Enterprise – private, commercial and academia – to exchange ideas on the latest developments in ocean technology and their application to the delivery of scientific, societal and business benefits. Whatever your role, the Oceanology conference provides an opportunity for you to interact with the wider ocean business, science and technology community. Whether you are a technologist developing the next novel sensor, the program manager seeking solutions to observe and monitor the ocean and coastal areas, a scientist seeking to better understand the latest technological tools to support your research or you represent an industry that requires ocean data and information to support its business needs, the Oceanology conference is a great event to interact across the spectrum of communities to advance leading-edge technologies and open new horizons.

The plenary session will feature leading United States, United Kingdom and Chinese speakers on the latest technologies and economic impacts of the marine sector. Sessions this year include, Marine Aquaculture; Autonomous Surface Vehicles and Communications; Ocean Observing and Sensing; Autonomous and Remotely Operated Underwater Vehicles and Vessels, the conference has something for everyone. A new session in 2018 on Marine Aquaculture will provide you an opportunity to understand operational technologies and how this effort can advance efficiently and effectively.

I look forward to welcoming you to China’s premier ocean technology event.
